bags is often used for handles.

Paper or twine is most often used natural materials. The most
popular artificial material for handles is polypropylene. This
material has a low cost price and high durability, wide colour range
and nice appearance. The only lack of it is a low wear resistance.
Polyether lavsan is a stronger material. It has a matte texture
surface and quite high extensibility. Polyamide of a cardboard is
another one popular material. It is elastic and strong, and the most
expensive synthetic material.
The choice of a cord type depends, first of all, on where paper bags
will be sued. For example, polypropylene handles suit well for gift
bags. The bags intended for more active use require more durable
materials.
